Podcasts
Listening to podcasts is a great way to hear poems spoken out loud. So many of ones I’ve come across offer wonderful reflections and insights into the poems and the lives of the poets. Not all of these are strictly about poetry … but they are poetic to be sure!

Have You Heard George’s Podcast?
George the Poet is a London-born spoken word performer of Ugandan heritage. His innovative brand of musical poetry has won him critical acclaim both as a recording artist and a social commentator.
Poetry Unbound
Immerse yourself in a single poem, guided by Pádraig Ó Tuama. Short and unhurried; contemplative and energizing. I cannot recommend this podcast highly enough! I even got to meet Pádraig…in a Zoom gathering hosted by The Well!
Pandemic Poems
A poetry-reading initiative by British actor, Samuel West. The poems provide a much needed sense of perspective, reflection, and some hope in a time of uncertainty and grief. Not strictly speaking a podcast, but a great audio resource through SoundCloud.
