these are a period into
the place that I started
to write from; locations,
movements,
all points that stand
at the intersection
of here and there.
it does not go anywhere
without saying what it is,
or isn’t, sometimes
it’s just as plane
as the space between.
it was a time ago, but
still lingers in the edges
of a misplaced noun,
this town…
Darcy Helkenberg is a skilled carpenter with a love for literature. Raised in a small town in the interior of British Columbia, now living in rural Nova Scotia. He creates with words as as builds with wood. This is his second chapbook.
