The Call of Many Sorrows – Fourteen Poems
by Catherine Walker
Synopsis
mostly roadside gifts, this collection of fourteen poems was cobbled together from random scraps of sorrow & curious bits of beauty. the moon, a splattering of stars, and the occasional bird also contributed.
the poems pay homage to inky skies, fickle uncertainty, unanswered prayers & small heartbreaks—all those flawed & far-from-perfect gifts that make writing poetry possible.

Catherine Walker is a writer & editor living in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. She is currently working on her second collection of poetry, along with two non-fiction projects.
