In the summer of 1980, just out of university, a young woman lands a seven-week gig as a production assistant on a feature film shooting in Sydney Mines, Cape Breton. (Spoiler alert: the film becomes a cult classic in its genre.) Distilled through memory, Short Takes is a remix of characters, scenes & dialogue from that singular time.
