Whether you are a long-time reader and writer of poetry, or new and unsure of whether or not you “get it”, you are welcome here!

Spot of Poetry Get-Togethers are informal gatherings where all levels of poetry readers and writers are welcome. Generally speaking, each person reads a poem aloud, we chat about it as a group, and then listen to the poem again. We also share some of our own writing based on the week’s theme. Strictly no pressure!

Time: 6:00pm - 8pm

Where: Lunenburg Library, Room 101

Our theme this week is facts. In this time that has been described as post-truth, facts do not speak for themselves the way they used to. Bring your own poem, or one you found and join us in conversation. When possible, bring 8-ish printed copies of the poem are you reading.
